How to Create an NSLS Chapter at Your School
I. Request a New Chapter Packet from nslsintl@natsecuritylaw.org . It provides important details and helpful tips for successful chapter formation.
II. Select a faculty advisor .
III. Adopt a Constitution and By-Laws . (Models of each document are posted here)
IV. Get approval from your school's SBA .
V. Petition the NSLS International Executive Committee ("IEC") for new chapter approval.
VI. Join the NSLS Google Group at http://groups.google.com/group/nsls .

Regional Districts
Northeast:
- Canada: Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edwards Island
- United States: Eastern New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Eastern Pennsylvania
- May later be subdivided into up to three districts:
- Northeast (Canada)
- Upper Northeast (United States): Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, Rhode Island
- Lower Northeast (United States): Eastern New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Eastern Pennsylvania
Mid-Atlantic: Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware
Southeast: Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama
Great Lakes:
- Canada: Ontario
- United States: Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Western New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Western Pennsylvania
Midwest:
- Canada: Manitoba
